Why am I getting an error message
that TruckTrax cannot connect to database after installation?
This error is most commonly caused by skipping Step #2 in the setup process. You
may check to see if you skipped Step #2 by going to your Add or Remove Programs
in your Control Panel, and locating the product called Microsoft SQL Server
2005 (TruckTrax). If this product does not appear in the list, you will
need to remove TruckTrax and start the installation again from Step #2. If you need
further assistance, please feel free to contact Customer Support.
This problem has been corrected in the Verison 2.0 Installation.

Why won't TruckTrax will not unlock
after a successful registration?
Currently, TruckTrax needs to be restarted once the registration process has completed
successfully on an expired license. After restarting TruckTrax, the program will
function normally for you.

I have the right User Name, but TruckTrax
will not take my registration code. I get a message that registration has failed
and to contact Customer Support.
The registration process may fail if the User Name entered does not match the user
name used
to login to My TruckTrax section of our web site. Please try typing in your User Name in all lower case
letters, and try again. If this does not work, it is possible that you may need
to update your software do to a problem that was found in eariler versions of the
product. Please contact Customer support for help on receiving an updated version
of the software.

Do I need to buy the online services
with TruckTrax?
No, you can buy TruckTrax all by itself. The online services (automatic updates,
online backups, tax table updates) are turned off for you if you only buy TruckTrax.
You will have to maintain your tax tables yourself, and your backups will only work
locally on your machine, but the services are NOT required, just recommended.
Updates to future versions of TruckTrax can be purchased seperately by registered
owners at a 50% discount of full retail license.

Can I pay for a year of service in
advance?
Yes, instead of paying for each month of your services (either support or bookkeeping)
you can pay for the entire year in advance and get one month Free!

Can I buy TruckTrax in a store?
No, you can only buy TruckTrax here on our web site or at the various shows we attend
(see the home page for our current show schedule) Remember you can download a free
trial here and then come back later and register
it!

Can I buy the TruckTrax Profit Estimator
without buying TruckTrax?
Yes you can! We have built Profit Estimator into TruckTrax, but you can get a stand
alone copy without having to buy TruckTrax!

What kind of computer will run TruckTrax?
Any computer that will run Windows XP SP 2 and has at least 128 MB of RAM should be enough
to handle TruckTrax. You will need around 100 MB of free disk space to store over a year
of information and the installation images.

How often do I need to update TruckTrax?
That depends if you're subscribing to the monthly services or not. If you are NOT
subscribing to the monthly services, you will get offers with each major upgrade
of TruckTrax. If you HAVE subscribed to the monthly services you DO NOT upgrade
TruckTrax EVER! The monthly services includes a real time update anytime something
new comes out! You will never have to pay for an upgrade again!
All users will receive a free upgrade to version 2.0 of TruckTrax, but all future
updates will only be available via purchase of support programs or new license.

What is an online backup?
Online backups are a complete copy of your TruckTrax database on our secure server
on the internet. You can rest assured that a copy of your data is there to perform
a backup if your computer goes down, or you buy a new one and you won't have to
re-key your entries ever again! Online backups are included in the monthly service
agreements at no extra charge!

How often are the Tax Tables updated
in TruckTrax?
Tax Tables are updated on our server as soon as we see an update posted by the government
and are maintained by TruckTrax on a daily basis. If you have subscribed to the
monthly service plans, your software will automatically get all tax table updates
downloaded anytime they are posted and you connect to the Internet prior to starting
TruckTrax. (If you don't subscribe to service plans, updating the tax tables in
TruckTrax is your responsibility, and can be done through the tools menu.)

What is Remote Desktop Support?
TruckTrax support provides the ability to have one of our technicians via the internet,
connect to your computer and help you fix your issues! We use GoToMeeting and can show you on our machine or yours how
to fix or troubleshoot issues you may have!

Does the trial version work differently
than the regular version?
No, what you get in the free-trial is the entire program! After 14 days the program
will disable itself or specific functions like new or save, will be disabled.

If I am having a problem with TruckTrax,
how do I get help?
You can call customer support or send an email to
support@trucktrax.biz with your question or problem. 90 days from the date
of purchase, support is provided regardless of service plan at no charge for up
to 60 minutes total. If you have subscribed to a service plan,
unlimited phone support is included. Remote desktop support is available in the
premium support package only.
